What's new for testers
Fighting Form is in private testing on TestFlight. Newest build first; the build number is shown in TestFlight and in Settings → About & privacy.

- The workout tape in Build stays responsive while you scroll and edit long workouts.

- Sign-in, library sync, and TV streaming wait longer for our servers to start before reporting a timeout.
- The About page leaves more space above Privacy at a glance.
1.0.1 (261020.1005)
- Product analytics and crash reports are now on by default. Turn off Share analytics and crash reports in Settings → About & privacy to stop them.
1.0.1 (261016.0927)
- Collection edits keep syncing after you change a cover or media.
- An older queued deletion can no longer erase newer edits made on another device.
- Review conflicting changes in Settings → Library sync, where you can keep, delete, or save a new copy.
1.0.1 (261015.1551)
- Live voice conversations with Fighter have been removed; typed chat and on-device dictation remain.
- Night section headings are drawn in chalk; Day keeps watercolor.
If you cannot hear a cue
- Open Settings → Cues & audio in Fighting Form and use the cue preview controls.
- Confirm bell and/or voice output is enabled and its level is audible.
- Check output volume, Focus, and the active Bluetooth or wired audio route. On iPhone and iPad, also check Silent Mode.
- If music is playing, review Fighting Form’s music mixing and ducking choice.
- Start a short test round before relying on cues during training.
Audio delivery is controlled partly by the operating system and connected devices. Keep Fighting Form visible until you have confirmed the cue setup you intend to use.
Account and security help
An account is optional. If sign-in fails, confirm the device can open the system authentication session, choose the Apple or Google method already linked to the account, and retry. If authenticator verification is enabled, use a current six-digit code or one unused recovery code. Repeated incorrect proofs can temporarily lock verification; Fighting Form shows the server-provided retry state without revealing whether a code was close or previously used.
Use Settings → Account → Security to replace recovery codes, link or unlink a sign-in provider, or disable authenticator verification after recent sign-in and proof. Fighting Form never links accounts from email alone and will not unlink the last usable provider.
Use Settings → Account → Delete account to initiate permanent account deletion without contacting support. This deletes the remote account and the account library records, conversations, and uploaded TV recordings stored with it; a few content-free security records are kept for a limited time, as the privacy policy describes. It intentionally leaves local copies of workouts, History, Journal, Health imports, Collections, and media on the device. Sign out clears this device's session without deleting either the account or local data.
Apple Health and Apple Watch
In Settings → Apple Health, reading Health, sharing saved workouts, and using Apple Watch are separate choices. Sign in before enabling workout sharing or Watch capture; switching Fighting Form accounts turns those choices off. Synced History alone is not exported to Health.
Install the companion on your paired Apple Watch, enable Apple Watch in Fighting Form on iPhone, then start a workout on iPhone and allow the requested Watch Health permissions. The Watch shows current heart rate or an unavailable message. Pause and resume requests need the iPhone workout open. Save on iPhone to save the Watch capture to Apple Health; discarding on either device never fabricates a replacement capture.
If a save is pending, reconnect both devices and use Retry Watch connection and saves. A failed or uncertain Watch save asks you to check Apple Health; Fighting Form does not create a second phone copy. Phone-only pending exports have their own retry button. Deleting History here leaves any Apple Health copy in Health, where you can remove it separately.
Background workout cues
Background workout cues are optional local notifications for relevant transitions during an active structured workout. On iPhone and iPad, open Settings → Cues & audio and choose Allow lock-screen cues. On Mac, open Fighting Form Settings → Cues & Audio and choose Allow workout notifications. Approve the system permission prompt, then enable the platform’s background-cue setting.
If access was denied, open Fighting Form’s notification settings from the same screen or use the platform’s notification settings. Focus, notification volume, Silent Mode on iPhone or iPad, and connected devices can affect delivery. Fighting Form cancels scheduled workout notifications when a workout is paused or ended and when the app becomes active again.
Interrupted or unfinished workouts
Fighting Form saves the active workout or effort checkpoint locally. If the operating system interrupts or closes the app, reopen Fighting Form to recover the current session. A running clock reconciles time conservatively; a paused clock stays paused.
If you intentionally replace or end a structured workout, Fighting Form records the work completed so far as partial. A planless effort is recorded with its active and elapsed time. Structured summaries can repeat their plan; planless effort summaries do not invent a Repeat action.
Journal Lock and device authentication
Open Settings → Journal privacy on iPhone or iPad or Fighting Form Settings → Journal on Mac to review Journal Lock. iPhone and iPad may offer Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode; Mac may offer Touch ID, Apple Watch, or the account password. Fighting Form receives only success or failure and never receives biometric data or an account password.
If device-owner authentication is unavailable, Journal remains locked and Fighting Form does not turn the setting off automatically. Restore a supported device-owner authentication method, return to the Journal privacy setting, and check again. On iPhone and iPad, Journal files retain locked-device file protection even when optional Journal Lock is off; on Mac, Journal content remains in the app sandbox and subject to the Mac account and file-system protections.
Your local data
- Delete one session or clear all workout and recorded-effort sessions from History.
- Delete a saved custom workout from Build → Workouts → My workouts.
- Remove a saved combination by selecting its favorite control again in Combos.
- Delete a Journal entry or remove one of its selected media or voice attachments.
- Delete a user-authored collection or item, or remove an imported collection video or audio file, from Build → Collections. Fighting Form removes its local record or app-owned copy, not the original file you selected.
- On iPhone and iPad, delete Fighting Form to remove its remaining local container, subject to an Apple backup you later restore.
- On Mac, use the in-app deletion controls for entries, efforts, workouts, collections, imported collection media, and favorites. Removing the app bundle may not remove its sandbox container or computer backups; contact support for local-removal instructions if needed.
When you are signed out, custom collections, your own drills, and journal entries live only on this device, so deleted local records cannot be restored by Fighting Form support. When you are signed in, saved workouts, history, Journal entries and goals, custom collections, and the drills within them are stored in your account on our server and cached on this device; Journal photo, video, and voice recap files and Collection media files stay on the device, except demonstration videos you choose to stream to your TV. Depending on your settings, Apple may maintain device backups under its own services.
If a sync conflict appears, open Settings → Library sync to review your choices.
Training safety
Fighting Form provides timers and general exercise prompts. It does not measure force or repetitions and is not medical advice, diagnosis, supervision, or a substitute for qualified professional guidance.
Train in a clear space with suitable equipment and technique. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, unusual shortness of breath, numbness, or loss of control. Ask a qualified healthcare professional whether exercise is appropriate for you when needed.
Privacy
Fighting Form does not require an account to browse and train base workouts. Signing in is required to save your own workouts and training history. There is no advertising or cross-app tracking. The apps share analytics and crash reports unless you turn them off in Settings. Read the complete Fighting Form Privacy Policy.
